Stocktake report
Find tracked physical products that still have stock on hand and see when each SKU was last counted. Use it to plan stocktakes and clear old inventory in bulk. Requires Products → Stock permission (same as receive, stocktake, and adjustments).
Open Reports → Catalog → Stocktake report.
What appears on the report
Each row is one SKU — a variant, or a simple product with no variants.
| Included | Not included |
|---|---|
| Physical products with Track stock on | Digital products and untracked products |
| Positive and negative stock (e.g. −2 or +5) | Zero stock |
| Active and inactive products / variants |
Product names link through to the product screen. Variant shows the variant label, or — for simple products. Current stock is the quantity on hand now. Last stocktake is when that SKU was last counted or zeroed via a stocktake — including from Products → Stocktake, this report’s bulk action, and POS write-downs. Receives do not update this date. Active is Yes or No.
Filter: Last stocktake before
Optionally set a date to narrow the list:
- SKUs never stocktaken, or
- SKUs whose last stocktake was before that date
Leave the date empty to see every tracked physical SKU with non-zero stock.

Stocktake all to zero
When you need to write off everything that matches the date filter — for example, clearing stock that has not been counted since a cut-off:
- Set Last stocktake before (the button stays disabled until a date is set).
- Choose Stocktake all to zero.
- Confirm — the dialog shows how many SKUs and total units will be zeroed.
Only rows matching the current filter are included. Each line is stocktaken to 0 in one action. After success, those SKUs drop off the report (stock is now zero) and Last stocktake updates to today.
For day-to-day counts, use Products → Stocktake on individual products instead. This report is for oversight and bulk clear-downs.
